Alice in Wonderland

Anyone know what the number one movie in america is right now?? It is Alice in Wonderland! The new movie with stars like Johnny Depp (starred in Charlie and the choclate Factory, Sweeny Todd, as well as in the Pirates of the Carrabian series), Anne Hathaway (starred in The Devil wears Prada, and the pricess diaries series),Helena Bonham Carter (Whos most famous for her work in Sweeny Todd and Harry Potter), Alan Rickman (Snape from harry potter), and  Mia Wasikowska (who plays the main character Alice).

If any of you have ever seen a Tim Burton movie before then you know how crazy they can get. This movie is no exception. This story of Alice in Wonderland isen't based on the original Disney movie we are all used to seeing. This is based on the book series.

The story is about 19 year old Alice's return to the magical land of her childhood. She reunited with old friends and learns of her destiny, to end the reign of the red queens terror. Throughout the movie you see the intresting characters that alice meets in this mystery world. All in all I thought that it was a movie worth seeing.  It swept me off my feet and the intresting story line kept me really well engaged. Its the best PG movie that i've scene in a long time and has action like no other movie currently in theaters. Its number one in the box office for a reason. So I suggest you all go out and see...Alice In Wonderland.

Valentine's Day movie Must see!!!!!!

Hello all you movie lovers. I hope you guys have seen some good movies this weekend. But one movie that is tearing up the box office is Valentines Day. After its debut  on Friday the 12th  It is still number one at the box office. For all of you who have not seen the star packed movie here is a little taste of what its about. A diverse group of Los Angelenos navigate their way through romance and heart break over the course of one Valentines Day. Couples and singles experience pitfalls of finding, keeping, or ending relationships in a day in the life of love.

This all star cast really knows how to make a really cute movie. You may see some faces you know for instance Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradly Cooper, and Jamie Fox just to name a few. But they had to have some help from best director Gary Marshall. Now I know many of you have heard bad things about one of the cast members Taylor Swift. I think she did a really good job for her first time acting.

I would give this movie 4 stars. Not only is it a good date movie but its also a good movie for a girls night out with your girl friends. Its a must see!

Dear John

Hello World! Hows it going? Last weekend I was super excited to see Dear John. Not only does this movie have Channing Tatum from Step Up in it, but Amanda Seyfried from Mean Girls and Mama Mia! too. These are two very talented and young actors, which made for an excitment. The movie is based on a Nicolas Sparks novel. Ever heard of him? Hes the guy that wrote The Notebook. The combination of these three amazing people had a lot of people talking.

For those of you who haven't seen the trailer Dear John is a love story. It takes place in a small town by the beach where John meets Savannah. Two weeks is all it takes for them to fall in love. Savannah goes to collage and John is in the army which makes for a difficult long distance relationship. But what keeps them going is the letters that they send to each other. Telling each other everything thats going on and keeping the flame alive. I personally believe its a movie worth seeing for all teens. Its rated PG-13 and in theaters near you!

I would rate the movie a 4 star film. The reason I didn't give it a five was not because the acting wasn't worthy, but because the movie takes some unexpected turns. The first half of the movie was to die for and warmed your heart. For all you boys out there dont take this movie as a chick flick and blow it off. You would enjoy it too! So everyone go out and see Dear John.

Movie Review of the Month!

Movie Review of the Month-

Movie: The KnowingKnowing poster by Cine Fanatico.

The Knowing was an EXCELLENT movie.  I enjoyed it very much.  It didn't have me checking the time, though it was a long movie.  Its a horror, sci-fi, romance and action movie packed into one!  Theres not much I can say about this movie without giving anything away, but I do HIGHLY recomend it.  The actors and actresses were great, though any movie Nicolas Cage is in is bound to be amazing.  I was skeptical about seeing this movie at first, but its worth every penny.  Theres a very unsuspected twist at the end.  There were some points were i litraly just laughed out loud, thinking "WOW.  This is great.  I didn't see that coming.  Wow.".  Every once in a while, a movie comes out that you go to see, and you love it so much that you tell all your friends about it, and go see it with them again.  Ths is exactly that.  I can definantly sit through that another time.  I forgot exactly how long the movie was, and I normaly don't lke long movies, but this is an exception.  SEE IT!

Summer Movies

We all know some of the Summer blockbuster movies that came out recently, like X-Men: Wolverine, Star Trek, and Terminator: Salvation. But what do we have to expect from the rest of Summer 2009?

If it's comedy you're looking for, you can take the Superbad route and see "The Hangover" a hilarious adventure of a few friends in Vegas. If you're looking for something more family-oriented, try "Year One" with the funnyman Jack Black. Both come out this month.

If you want some action, there's always the remake of the classic "The Taking of Pelham 123" with John Travolta and Denzel Washington. Expect some twists amd turns, and plenty of action. And lets not forget the pulse-pounding Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Anymore movies you're looking forward to this Summer?
